INGREDIENTS

  • 1 pkg hot dogs (min 18 pack)
  • 2 Tbsp yellow mustard
  • 2 Tbsp sweet BBQ rub
  • 4 Tbsp butter
  • 1/4 C brown sugar
  • 1/2 C sweet & spicy BBQ sauce

Hot Dog Burnt Ends

DIRECTIONS

  1. Slather all hot dogs in mustard and season with BBQ rub
  2. Smoke hot dogs (using cherry or hickory pellets) at 225 degrees for 1 hour
  3. Remove hot dogs from smoker, slice into bite sized chunks and place in foil pan
  4. Add butter, brown sugar, and BBQ sauce to pan and stir around
  5. Smoke at 350 for 30 more hour, stirring every 5-10 min.
  6. Serve as a side dish, on their own, or on top of a bowl of mac n cheese
